This. I wasn’t anticipating this. I’m still playing Overwatch on and off seven months after it came out and it really just keeps getting better. The (exquisite) skill matching in casual matches means I rarely play in a game where I’m cursing at getting spawn killed or absolutely owned, the lack of a displayed K/D ratio in the scores means the smack-talking is somewhat limited, and the chatter between the characters frequently cracks me up.
I’m not typically a heavy multiplayer-only type gamer but, well, the best way I can describe how amazing Overwatch is is this: I am not good at Overwatch and I don’t care. I even have fun sucking at this game. Thanks for showing me how awesome a multiplayer only arena combat game could be (and Lucio) Overwatch.
Throughout January, the Games of 2016 will lead the way towards The 2016 Grimmys - Horrible Night's Games of the Year Awards.
