My actual reaction is probably on video somewhere in our archives, but I still cannot believe how goooooooood Flinthook feels. It's so tight that it made me drop the controller. Seriously, if you nail that Mario-level feel to your platformer not much else matters to me. There's nothing else left to prove because no matter what is going on, it is fun to run and jump around. In this case I also get to hook around which is a whole other dimension of fun.
Amidst all the fun, I wanted to master Flinthook. Then of course I kept getting distracted by the quirky space pirates and unlocking upgrades for my next great run. It's addictive. It's attractive. It's a damn good time. Thanks for showing me your ropes, Flinthook.
