No game world this year felt like Tolva. Cold, distant, and full of robots. It made me an alien. At first I was just an observer, but I had to defend myself. I was an intruder in a surface level skirmish. Below the battles, though, was a curiously deliberate mystery. Nothing was actively pulling me in, but I couldn't stop thinking about it.
Jarring explosions intermittently woke me up from my investigation. Suddenly, the contrast of stressful shoot-outs fit beautifully next to my lonely search for answers. Thanks for making noise, The Signal from Tolva.
