I mean, I don't know what I expected. How could I? The only thing I had to go on was that Stephen's Sausage Roll was a "fun but difficult puzzle game." I couldn't even tell what was happening in the screenshots, but I was intrigued nonetheless. It turns out that I needed a dose of Stephen's Sausage Roll in my life.
After struggling to figure out how to navigate the world map because I didn't know it was a world map, I was dumbfounded by the first puzzle. I kept pushing sausages onto grills and burning them. I kept pushing sausages off the map into the water. I kept trapping myself in the corner as I couldn't turn around because I was surrounded by sausages. What was this fork? What is happening? After fumbling around with dozens of sausages, I accidentally cooked one to perfection. Suddenly, the game became a sausage puzzle party that bent my mind in a totally different direction. Thanks, I think, Stephen's Sausage Roll.
