Apparently, I've become a bit of a digital pinball snob because it took me way too long to embrace the idea of pinball working as platforming game. Once I gave it a chance, Yoku's Island Express immediately sucked me in to its charming postal adventure.
It's rare for a game to hit my completionist triggers at the same time as it provide a relaxing escape from the stresses of more urgent games. I loved casually exploring every crevice of each of the pinball puzzles presented to me as I made my way across the island. The characters I met along the way only added to overflowing my joy tank. Thanks for the bouncy happy place, Yoku's Island Express.
Throughout January, the Games of 2018 will lead the way towards The 2018 Grimmys - Horrible Night's Games of the Year Awards.
